Justin McDonald
Founder & Chief Everything Officer
Justin is a third generation Native Floridian who started Drink Local Florida because he loves Florida beer and touring breweries, wineries and distilleries in the Sunshine State. He graduated from Florida State University with B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Economics, and has spent the last 9+ years working as a risk consultant and data journalist in the eCommerce payments and fraud industry. He is also an adjunct professor of Economics at a public college in Florida.
Justin is a true Floridian at heart who lives for all this great state has to offer, including our beaches, parks, sports teams, spring training and (of course) local craft beer. More information about Justin's professional and personal background can be found at his personal website.
Justin founded Drink Local Florida, LLC in 2017 and is the company's CEO, or Chief Everything Officer. Roles and responsibilities include: content writer, webmaster, graphic design, marketing manager, social media manager, web and search/traffic analytics, advertising sales lead and client account management.

Landis is Drink Local Florida's Brand Ambassador (follow him on Instagram). He is very social with a friendly demeanor and loves to check out all the Florida breweries where pets are permitted. Landis has been a part of Drink Local Florida since it's inception, and has been a part of the McDonald family since he was adopted from Nate's Honor Animal Rescue in 2016.
If you ever see Landis out at a Florida brewery or elsewhere please come up and say "Hi," he loves to meet people and other dogs. However, please respect Landis' decision to abstain from alcohol. Do NOT try to give Landis beer. He doesn't judge you for drinking, but also doesn't need to drink himself to have a good time.
Landis has been an integral part of Drink Local Florida, managing back office and AR, while representing the company as Brand Ambassador. He tours pet-friendly breweries and beer gardens to provide his input for Drink Local Florida content.
